This is disappointing -

The iPhone version is a separate application requiring a separate license from the desktop client? That's either poor design, greed, or a lack of market awareness. Look at a simple competitor like EasyTrack Manager and you'll see a simple UI, seamless synch between clients, and an iPhone web UI - all for $19.95. Sure, it's limited, but expecting users to shell out $99 for a .Mac account or set up a WebDav option is a questionable choice.

Altogether, if I want seamless integration of a GTD tool, I'll end up paying $79 for a desktop license, another fee for iPhone access, and an annual fee to Apple (or do my own tech support to set up a WebDav option).

I really like your tools - but you're missing the point of the iPhone entirely - simplify, simplify, simplify. That means pricing, purchasing, and above all integration. With Mac OS penetration increasing, the time is ripe for a simple GTD tool.

I'll look forward to the next generation of tools in the hopes that Omni will rise to the challenge.

I don't suppose the OmniFocus Family Pack license would cover a Mac Pro, a MacBook Pro, and two iPhones in the same household, would it? ;)

Dear All at Omnigroup,

I don't have the IPhone, but I have a license for Omnifocus, and this software really rocks, help me to managed OP for factories and more in China (very multitasking person, I'm).... thank you first for this...

As I'm dependent of Omnifocus, I'm thinking to buy now the Iphone, I have tested the old one and of course its a nice phone and Mp3 player, but the new one with more speed can be more interesting for me, but with Omnifocus it will become a weapon, dangerous weapon for lead managers.

Congratulations - I'm not even a user but, I've heard a lot about Omni focus from TWIT and I'm going to buy and iPhone 3G just to use it. Only problem is I don't have a Mac to sync with are there any websites that I'll be able to sync with and edit my data on the web? Maybe MobileMe? :)

Congratulations!

I just can't wait to get the new OmniFocus version and iPhone version. As a matter of fact I haven't used OmniFocus since I purchased it a few weeks ago since I need to synchronization so badly. Any release date available? :-)
