Things we did today developing “Mysterious New Product”

posted by Joel on 05.26.06 @ 5:04 pm

1. Tried to get a dog to bark on command; failed.
2. Attempted to order a gorilla mask; succeeded.

Caveat: The above is in no way a red herring or misdirection, it is all completely true.

Yes! I knew it! OmniGame! And they are testing out scripted events (which apparently needs more testing) and image masking (which works great)!

Under $20; KGTD still holding at 0.83; the dog and mask could be projects…

Is the mystery OmniGTD?

Gorilla mask? What are you people on the other side of the building doing??

Ok, I changed my mind.. eBay listing and buying desktop app. :-)

Audio & image processing product…

I’m sticking with my guess that it’s iPhoto. Or, OmniPhoto.

Some kind of voice-activated command tool?

You should look up red herring. I think you’ll find this is exactly what a red herring is. (”something, esp. a clue, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting”)

Indeed =)

MOO HA HA HA HA!!

Reading between the lines… it’s a whitespace generator.

Obviously it’s OmniScript the language that is at so high a level that only a dog can hear.

( Inside my head that sounds funny!).

My condolences on whatever it is that has you so grumpy today!

GUSCH needs a hug.

Dear OmniGroup, keep deleting the comments you don’t like. Perhaps you should consider outsourcing to China!

I deleted you comment as I disliked your choice of words, particularly the one with the ‘f’ at the beginning of it.

Feel free to repost your thoughts, however I’d try and do so without such salty language. Save that for the Navy.

If you want my Gorilla Chest to go with the mask let me know, I might bring it by anyways since it makes me feel like I can eat messy.

On a side note: Sprite curred my hiccups!

With all the hype, this is running the risk of winding up like “Ginger,” that is, the Segway launch. :)

Would the Navy find the new OmniProduct useful?
